Sh. P.K.Agrawal joined as Member / Legal, CGRF – BYPL on 6.10.2022.

He is a Post Graduate in Physics and Law besides a PGDM in Finance from MDI, Gurugram. He is a Life Member and Fellow of Indian Council of Arbitration (FICA) and Life Member of Institute of Rail Transport and Indian Red Cross

As an IRPFS officer, he joined Group ‘A’ Civil Services under Govt of India in 1984 and retired as Additional Director General, Min of Railways in 2020. He has a rich and varied experience of 36 years in various senior government positions - administration, legal, vigilance, crime investigation & prosecution, litigation etc. As an officer of frontline railway department, always faced and resolved problems of consumers. He has participated in training programmes & seminars in various institutes of excellence in India & abroad like IIM, Calcutta; IIM, Ahmedabad; NPA, Hyderabad; NAIR, Vadodara; Institute of Criminology & Forensic Science, New Delhi; INSEAD, Singapore; ICILIF, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia); UIC, Paris; Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University, USA etc.

He has handled legal matters concerning Govt of India and dealt with legal cases filed in courts / tribunals / forums by Consumers under various laws like Consumer Protection Act and the cases filed by the employees in various courts including High Courts, Supreme Court of India. Delivered arbitral awards in dozens of cases. As an Advocate, he has rich experience of independent practice in Supreme Court, High Court, and District Courts of Delhi for civil, criminal, service, labour law matters and has contested many cases successfully.
